Coimbatore Gold Jewellery

Tips on buying gold jewellery
1. Take not of the grams: Usually, while buying jewellery, much attention is paid to the design and little to how many grams the jewellery is – how much jewellery you will actually take home. Before you buy any jewellery ask for the “take-home grams”.
2. Opt for low-wastage ornaments: high-wastage in jewellery is often a way for jewelers to extract higher profit margins. Experts suggest that for ordinary designs, insist on not more than 6% wastage, and for highly-intricate designs, insist on not more than 8% wastage.

Tips on caring for high karat gold
1. High karat gold jewellery can be quite sensitive and soft.
2. To avoid scratches and damages, store your gold jewellery separately in an individual case or pouch.
3. Only use warm water (or quality jewellery cleaning products) when cleaning dust or dirt from jewellery pieces. If required, use a small, very soft brush to wipe dirt away.
4. Perfume and cologne pose dangers if they come into contact with gold jewellery, so keep them separate.
5. Clean your jewellery with pumpkin juice to keep it bright forever.
6. Proper maintenance on jewelry is very essential in order to prevent from prongs or pearls restrung.
7. While swimming avoid wearing jewels. The chlorine in water can damage your gemstone and gold. Gemstone may become loose in its location.
